A really
great hotel in Liptov area Slovakia. Located in the town of Liptovsky Mikulas
with lovely rooms, a spa and a good breakfast, I highly recommend it as a good
base for lower Tetra mountains star trip!

Janosic hotel is
located on the main road of Liptovsky Mikulas just off the river with easy
access to the highway. The stay at the hotel includes a full hot breakfast and
there’s an indoors pool and spa. The location is wondrful for the area’s
attractions!
We booked a suite for two adults and two children
and got a wonderful 2 bedroom suite overlooking the river!
The suite included a small lobby with a closet
where robes and spa slippers were watiing for us. Two bedroom, one was really
big with two separate beds, and a small ‘living room’ with a sofa and tv.
The bathroom and the shower was spacious.
First, there’s separate toilet with bathroom, bidet and sink. The main bathroom
has a tub, shower and double sink.
The hotel information mentioned a fee for the
pool/spa, but we used it and were not charged. The pool is not very good but
just enough to refresh and for the children to play. there were also jacuzzi
and saunas.
Breakfast was packed wtih food including
eggs. The only problem was that sometimes the staff did not manage to refill
the buffet when it was very busy.
The hotel has a small back yard near the river,
but we did not go out there.
We paid around 120 euro per night plus taxes
for the suite in summer 2014. I warmly recommend the hotel. Here’s a link to
