Ben Ami Spa – Western Galilee Spa

Ben Ami Spa is a Western Galilee spa – massage, Jacuzzi, sauna and breakfast by the pool – in a luxurious villa near Nahariya.

Ben Ami Villa is located in the suburbs of Nahariya – a perfect place for a Western Galilee spa retreat. We arrived at Ben Ami spa for a morning spa retreat. We had breakfast, a massage, and enjoyed the villa’s facilities.

The Spa

The spa reception is very welcoming. The receptionist gave us robes and towels, and lockers key. The dressing rooms, located behind the reception area, include two showers, a dressing area, and lockers. We left our belongings there and changed to white robes and headed to the spa waiting room.

The spa is small but very tranquil, designed in Zen style. The colors are earth colors with candlesticks. There are 5 massage rooms and a sauna. The massage I took was Swedish, the massagist was very professional. She was very methodical yet attentive and combined some gentle reflexology; I enjoyed the massage very much.

After the massage, I was ready for some more relaxation, a good time to the Jacuzzi. The large sized Jacuzzi (big enough for a group!) is located around the pool.

There are many hammocks and seating areas around the pool and lawns. The atmosphere is serene. With around 300 days of sunshine in Israel, it is lovely to sit by the pool and enjoy the weather!

The Brasserie

Breakfast and light dairy meals are served at the Brasserie or by the pool.

We had breakfast here. It was very rich meal with many fresh vegetables and salads, cheeses, baked pastries, and omelets made to choice.

The Villa

Ben Ami Villa is a little hotel with 8 rooms that are connected to a villa. Each room can be rented separately, and the villa can be rented with up to 8 rooms with a 24 people occupancy. The villa is spacious, with a large living room, kitchen, game room and a heated indoors pool. Breakfast can be ordered from the Brasserie and spa packages are available. Very luxurious!
